Our New Website - Live!

Infant Sleep Class - June 27 in Novato

Sarah Middleton, an infant sleep consultant and parent coach, will be returning to our Greenbrae office on Thursday, June 27th at 12:15PM.  Sarah will be doing a lecture on Sleep from 0 to 12 months, discussing babies' sleep needs and how best to help your baby learn good sleep habits.

Costco Berries and Hepatitis A

Once again, an infectious disease transmitted by food is in the news.  This time, it's Hepatitis A instead of Salmonella, Shigella or E. Coli.  Hepatitis A is caused by a virus that can be transmitted by someone who is infected and handles food.

New Website - Coming Soon!

We have been hard at work transferring all of the information from our website to our new site, which will still be at: www.tamalpaispediatrics.com.  The new site will include all of the same information as our current site, as well as the KidDoc Symptom Checker from the AAP HealthyChildren.org site, and parent resources from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Breastfeeding Support Group

For all of our breastfeeding moms - in addition to lactation support from Brenda Evans, PNP, we are happy to announce that we are starting a monthly breastfeeding support group.  The group will be facilitated by Julia Giammona, LPN.

How to Talk to Kids About the Boston Marathon Bombings

Once again, the news is filled with reports of a tragic event.  The bombing at the Boston Marathon yesterday affects all of us in some way.  Our hearts go out to the families and community that was affected by this event.

Tamalpais Pediatrics and UCSF
