Friday, July 4 - Office Closed

Just a reminder that the offices will be closed on Friday, July 4 so that we can all celebrate the holiday with our friends and families.  The After Hours Clinic will be open their usual holiday/weekend hours from 9:30AM to 9:30PM.  Please call 415-464-1350 if you need to reach the Advice Nurse while we are closed.  We hope you all have a healthy, safe and fun Fourth of July!

In the News: Vaccine Safety

Last week a report was published that looked at 67 different studies of vaccine side effects.  This report confirmed that vaccines are safe, and an effective way of preventing disease.  Click here to read a USA Today story about the report.  Remember, as Dr. Paul Offit says in this story, "The most dangerous aspect of giving your child vaccines is driving to the office to get them."

Starting Solids -New Patient Education Class

We have a new class starting this month - "Introducing Your Baby to Solids: What, When and How."  The class will be taught by Argavan Nilforoush, RD, CSP who is also teaching the "Picky Toddler Nutrition" class.  We are planning to alternate those topics every month, so if you're looking for the picky toddler class, check back in August.

World Cup Fridays at Tamalpais Pediatrics!

If you were in the office last Friday, you know that we're all celebrating the World Cup again. If you're coming to the office on a Friday during the World Cup, wear your soccer kit and join in on the fun!  (Since we'll be closed on Friday, July 4 we'll be celebrating on Thursday)
