Patient Education Classes This Week - Picky Eaters and Fussy Infants

Solutions for Picky Eaters and Toddlers:
Is your toddler becoming less willing to try new foods?
Does your child have a limited diet?
Are you struggling to get your child to eat a variety of fruits, vegetables and healthy foods?
Come to this class to learn how to encouage a healthy, varied diet for your picky eater or toddler.
Instructor: Susannah Wallenstrom, MPH, RDH

This course will cover the following topics:
  • Toddler nutrition needs
  • Solutions for the picky eater
  • The division of responsibility in feedings
  • Planning meals and snacks for the whole family
This is a free class for patients of Tamalpais Pediatrics and $20 for guests.

Normal Infant Crying and Fussiness:
Brenda Evans, MSNP, CLC, GSC will be teaching a class on infant fussiness and crying, often called colic. Come learn about this normal but challenging phase of your newborn's first few months.

This course will cover the following topics:

  • Normal newborn fussiness
    • When it starts, peaks, and ends
    • Other names for this developmental time
  • Soothing techniques
  • What to do vs. what not to do
  • Additional resources
