Susannah Wallenstrom MPH, RDN, CLT
Susannah has been in the Bay Area for over 16 years, but she is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville with a degree in Sociology. Her interest in nutrition grew after college, and she moved to Chapel Hill to attend the University of North Carolina. Here she received her Masters in Public Health and Nutrition and became a registered dietitian nutritionist. She and her husband moved to San Francisco soon after, and she has been working as an RDN ever since. She spent 5 years in the outpatient nutrition clinic at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, and she continues to teach infant and and toddler feeding classes there. She was also a consultant dietitian for the San Francisco Nutrition Clinic for 7 years working with people of all ages to help them achieve sustainable lifestyle change. In 2012, she started Marin Nutrition Consulting, a private practice focused on helping families eat healthier. She loves working with kids of all ages to establish healthy eating habits and a positive relationship with food. She also holds her Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.
Susannah lived in San Francisco for 3 years but moved to Marin in search of the sun. She now lives in San Anselmo with her husband, 3 teenage daughters and golden retriever. In her free time she enjoys trail running and hiking, paddle boarding, eating good food, and spending time with her family and friends in the outdoors.
